    Get the selected file.

    Is there away to get the selected file name and capture it in a text box instead of opening the file in a new window?

    use ClientOpenItemFunction to override open command (which open selected file in new window)
    it is used in Cistomized.aspx of demo project.

    you may put some code which call post back and do you logic at server side. but in such case each "open" command do perform post request.
