IZWebFileManager

I just wanted to throw this out and see if anyone has an experience or ideas on the matter.

I have a small reliable webserver than I have implemented IZWebFileManager on. It works well, nice and fast... but there isn't a ton of storage on it. I'm interested in possibly utilizing the Amazon S3 service to host files cheaply and reliably.

The questions I have are, is my understanding of this service/functionality incorrect? Does it sound doable? Is the IZ capable of running on one server but mapping the file path to another server?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Using IZWebFileManager in such way is not supported.

But it may be possible after code changes.

The idea is to extract some provider API which works with file system by default, and then provide it's replacement which works with Amazin S3 service in your case.

Would it be possible for you to implement something like this? Do you have rates for custom development?
